Our fresh underground find of the week goes to this eclectic collection of 20 clowns currently available on OpenSea.
The concept is a story of a lonely clown living on the blockchain who was abandoned by his master (maker) but is now thinking for himself and creating his own NFT friends.
Everyday he submits a diary entry on cruddyclownclub.io and we learn a little more about the characters available.
The roadmap shows this is a planned theatre production with clown holders helping develop the script as the story unfolds through Discord polls and Q&A sessions.
The writers behind this project have serious credentials having worked with the likes of BBC and ITV.
This project plans to become one of the first ever theatre productions to be viewed live in the Metaverse.
The kaleidoscopic artwork dazzles and every clown is handmade and unique.
Cruddy also already has his own plot of Sandbox real estate not far from RollerCoaster Tycoon World. The Sandbox is a virtual world where players can play, build and own their virtual experiences and already boasts brands such as Tesla, The Walking Dead and Bored Ape Yacht Club.
With a buy in of just over $100 and a larger marketing campaign planned, we look forward to watching this project unfold.
