The Winkelvoss twins (portrayed above) famously took Mark Zukerberg to court and successfully sued him for a multimillion-dollar settlement, claiming Facebook was originally their idea.

Cameron and Tyler had no plans to take that cheque and ride off into the sunset though! After becoming bona fide Olympic rowers they went on to become Bitcoin investor whales and founders of the Winklevoss Capital Management and Gemini cryptocurrency exchange.

They have since made another significant impact to the internet-verse by bringing NFT Artwork to the masses through their website Nifty Gateway.

Yes, those preppy twins from Harvard are one of the main driving forces behind NFTs and their website has become the marketplace leader.

As a result, Forbes has quite rightly given their first NFT digital magazine cover to the boys.

If these guys did invent Facebook, champion Bitcoin early and create the hype around NFT trading – are we in the presence of true entrepreneur greatness? That will be for the history books to decide.

Sidenote, Forbes sold the NFT of the cover for $333,000 on (you guessed it) Nifty Gateway. Wonder who the buyers were? We think Cameron gets to hang it on his toilet wall Monday – Wednesday, Tyler gets it Thursday – Saturday and they rotate on Sundays.
