I DREAMED THAT I WAS FREE

Yesterday I dreamed that I was free. That there were no oppressive hands, that I was flying through the wind.

These are the words written to accompany this spectacular NFT by artist Oxeegeno on SuperRare.

We first posted this NFT on our TikTok account two weeks ago and at that time the artist was getting offers in the region of $6000. We are delighted to see that the bidding continued to increase and it ended up being sold for $21,000.

The Artist

Oxeegeno, real name Darío Vilanova is a visual artist based in Argentina. With only 19,000 Instagram followers he is one of the most exciting up-and-coming NFT artists we have discovered thus far.

Argentina is famous for animations, historically it was where the first animated feature film was created and Oxeegeno seems to be one of the countries most exciting sons of this art form. His work is extraordinary!

We have dug around the depths of the deep web to try and find out more about this maverick and have hit some serious brick walls. We found his general social media accounts had no bio, he has no website and his profile on LinkedIn only describes him as working in ‘consulting’.

We’ll reach out to his Instagram account to try and find out more, but we picture him currently on a beach in Argentina doing the Tango with his $21,000 cheque.
