Popular NFT app VeVe has sensationally announced a new partnership with comic-book royalty Marvel.

VeVe CEO Dan Crothers took to the internet to announce to his 200,000 app userbase that they are delighted to sign this historic deal.

VeVe already has the licence to sell NFTs for the the likes of DC, Back to the Future and Ghostbusters, grossing a cool 40 million in revenue in the first six months of this year.

They will now be adding the likes of Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Thor and Hulk to their NFT inventory.

Marvel entertainment president Dan Buckley said VeVe was chosen as a partner because it understands collecting is about the experience “just as much as the product”. Soon fans will be able to purchase and interact with official Marvel NFT digital collectibles, 3D statues, and digital comic books through mixed reality on VeVe’s groundbreaking app platform.

The brains behind VeVe is Alfred Kahn – licensing hall of famer responsible for more than $25 Billion in retail revenue including Pokemon. An expert in licensing, branding, digital media and marketing, Alfred plays an integral role in securing licenses for the VeVe platform, as well as developing and implementing marketing and branding strategies to an international audience. He has been busy trying to secure this deal for VeVe since March, when he told collectors on the platform he was working on a “game-changing NFT Licence.”

Each series sold on the app has four characters that includes a Ultra Rare, Rare, Uncommon and Common.

Once you own an NFT you can display them in augmented reality on your phone and create and customise virtual showrooms to showcase your digital collectibles and share this experience with other collectors around the world.

Іn 2009, Marvel was purchased by Тhе Wаlt Dіѕnеу Соmраnу’ fоr $4.24 bіllіоn.

The top five highest-grossing superhero films of all time have all been produced by Marvel Studios, within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and includes the four Avengers films (The Avengers, Age of Ultron, Infinity War, and Endgame) and Black Panther.

There is no doubt that the announcement of Marvel NFTs will excite the collector purists and with a solid tried-and-tested base like VeVe delivering the products, we cannot wait!

Givenchy Beauty NFT Pride on wall

Luxury fashion brand Givenchy made a move into the NFT space this week and created a beautiful 2D animated NFT Artwork to celebrate the LGBTQIA community.

The house teamed with gallerist and LGBTQIA supporter Amar Singh and artists from the Rewind Collective for the project that was sold on the very popular NFT collectables app VeVe.

The drop took place on June 21st and 1952 editions each listed at £100 sold out in two seconds.

All profits have been donated to Le MAG Jeunes (or Mouvement d’Affirmation des Jeunes Gais, Lesbiennes, Bi et Trans) for people age 15 to 30.

The series of portraits that appear in the artwork were photographed by Givenchy and reworked to capture moments of intimacy, strength and diversity. The work champions those who have stood up for identity, sexuality and human rights.

A spokesperson for Givenchy said about the artwork –

“we have reflected on Givenchy Beauty’s place at the forefront of inclusivity, creating a digital artwork that recognizes the LGBTQIA community”

Givenchy was 2020’s fastest-growing luxury brand with its value growing an impressive 74% to US$2.0 billion and is currently recognised as the 26th biggest luxury brand in the world by brandirectory.com

Givenchy is endorsed by the likes of the Kardashians and Elon Musk who wore a $4000 Givenchy suit on his latest SNL appearance. The Tesla and SpaceX entrepreneur, 49, wore the luxury’s label’s wool blazer with silver padlock closure ($3,135), along with matching pants ($840), opting for a black T-shirt underneath instead of a traditional button-down and tie.

This is one of the hottest NFT drops of the summer and you even though it is sold out, you can still get your hands on one in the VeVe app marketplace, second sales currently stand at approximately £250.

About Beeple

Mike Winkelmann is a 39 year old digital artist with a wife and two children living in South Carolina.

his visionary and digital pictures have propelled him to the top of the digital art world, winning him over two million followers on Instagram and high-profile collaborations with global brands ranging from Louis Vuitton to Nike, as well as performing artists such as Katy Perry and Childish Gambino.

His outspoken take on the hot topics that dominate mainstream media seem to resonate with young and new art collectors. His opinionated pieces have proven that he’s got his finger firmly on the pulse of not just the digital art world, but current world events.

His NFT Artwork ‘Everydays: The First 5000 Days‘ was the first digital collectible to be auctioned at Christies and fetched a jaw dropping 69 million dollars in the process.

With so many editions up for grabs and a $1 dollar lottery buy in, more records will be smashed in what is going to be a Beeple-Fest weekend in the NFT space.

Very exciting and we wish all our readers massive amounts of GOOD LUCK ?

Beeple Spring Collection 2021 Title

The NFT golden goose is back!

Beeple has announced his return with a new 2021 Spring Collection that will be dropping exclusively on Nifty Gateway over the coming weekend (April 30th to May 2nd).

It was widely reported that Beeple’s last project ‘The First 5000 Days’ sold for 69 million at Christies Auction house. However those without the wealth of an oil tycoon may still be able to grab something from this next collection.

He will be offering many different options and editions, one that includes a prize draw for only $1 – it’s a Beeple lotto!

WOWOWOWOWOWOW.   HOLY F**K HELL.

dat spring done sprung like a motherf**ker.

this is my 13th year of everydays without missing a single day.  each one of these pictures was done start to finish that day and posted on the internet before midnight – Beeple

Beeple Spring Collection Artwork

Let’s take a look a some of the offerings from this hotly anticipated drop.

There is four 1 editions.

Beeple Spring Collection 1 of 1

Two 3 editions.

4 100 editions.

And finally a 100 edition that will be a prize draw. To enter you only have to pay $1 and you will also be quizzed on Beeple in order to make the draw. There will be 100 lucky winners.

This NFT Artwork is full of digital age masterpieces and all successful buyers will also receive a physical copy in a digital clear glass frame.

We can safely assume that excluding the lotto piece, all other artwork in this 2021 Spring Collection will go to auction with the highest bidder winning. Nifty has asked for ‘proof of funds’ for anyone looking to spend more than $20,000 to get special bidding access, you can do that by clicking here.

However, Nifty Gateway often run ‘open editions’ with a ten minute window to buy, and the amount of editions minted is relevant to the buyers. Unlimited stock for ten minutes. This is usually for quite an affordable amount but we haven’t had confirmation that this will be available.

If this were the case, that would mean we could all have a Beeple within our reach this weekend. It is wishful thinking, but Beeple doesn’t play by the rules and may want to grant the early adopters of NFTs a chance to own some of his art. They certainly wouldn’t announce it officially as it would attract too many buyers and bots, but we will be keeping a close eye on this auction to see if any such opportunity does arise.

And if it doesn’t, all aboard the Beeple lotto train, you have to be in it to win it! ?

NFT Investments Rocket

NFT Investments, a UK PLC that is purpose-built to invest directly into Non-Fungible Tokens, has announced a £35m listing on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market in London.

The Company’s shares are traded on the Access segment under the symbol: NFT.

Aquis Stock Exchange (AQSE) is a stock market providing primary and secondary markets for equity and debt products.

They plan to simplify investments into NFT’s and focus on building a portfolio of investments into NFT’s, NFT Companies, NFT Artwork and NFT Rights.

NFT Investments were shocked and delighted at the “substantially oversubscribed” share placing which raised £35m (triple what was predicted), with an order book that is already boasting a demand in excess of one hundred million GBP in what the firm said was “unprecedented investor demand”.

This news has valued the Company at a market capitalisation of £50 million.

NFT Investments is a UK PLC that is purpose-built to invest directly into Non-Fungible Tokens, Companies and Rights.

NFT Investments ultimately now gives stock investors the chance to back NFT as an industry, and that has been welcomed with open arms.

Led by management team Jonathan Bixby and Nick Lyth, the company said the money made from its IPO will now be allocated to “identify and carry out due diligence on potential investments” and to provide further capital to support its acquisition and investment strategy. This new NFT powerhouse has proven experience and claim to have unprecedented experience in creating, scaling and financing businesses in both the crypto and fin-tech space.

Here is a snapshot from their website of the dream-team behind the record breaking fundraising on the Aquis Exchange.

What’s astonishing is the company was only thrown together one month ago and their website still looks like a WordPress template! They don’t even have social media accounts, so we haven’t seen the champagne flowing, “we did it” hashtags or rocket emoji’s ? … can we not even get an “NFTs to the moon” guys?

In early deals today, shares in the company were trading at around 8p, a 60% increase on its launched IPO price of 400 million 5p per share.

With NFTs still having its critics, there can be no doubt we are seeing many high-net-worth individuals and crypto whales backing this romantic blockchain technology to be the new way artwork, IP and collectibles are distributed with murmurs of a “metaverse” on the way!

Ready Player One?

Veve Ecomi Secret NFT Drop

VeVe (pronounced “Ve” “Ve”)  is an app created by Ecomi that allows you to collect NFT artwork figurines that you can then display in the real world through augmented reality.

They currently have licences to sell the likes of DC, Cartoon Network, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and many more. Only last week they sold 85,000 digital DeLorean cars from Back to the Future in less than two hours. All collectibles on the app are currently sold out, with the app struggling to deal with the huge surge in users looking to land their first NFT collectable.

With no drop scheduled this week, VeVe has confirmed on Twitter that they are set to make a big announcement.

It has left VeVe’s ever-growing fanbase wondering what this could possibly be!

We have been digging through everything we know about the current staff, directors and artists at VeVe and managed to uncover the NFT artist that designed the Harley Quinn NFT artwork currently on the app. We won’t reveal his identify because he has no doubt signed an NDA, but when we checked out his personal social media page we noticed he had posted this image recently as a working progress.

This very much looks like a VeVe character design. It might be a secret rare collectable statue, or maybe just the first draft with a body soon to be added. When you compare it to the current Robin they released on the app the likeness is uncanny.

Reveal – So it looks likely we could be getting a Christopher Reeves Superman NFT!

If you want more evidence, you can see that VeVe has added Superman to their website and also current IP licensing small print in their terms and conditions.

Making his debut appearance in 1938, Superman is the original superhero and his first NFT will be the holy grail for digital collectors. With all NFTs limited on the app, if you manage to snare one the price in the second market will be ridiculous – Up, up, and away!

VeVe are managing to secure incredible IPs on their platform because the brains behind this project is Alfred Kahn – licensing hall of famer responsible for more than $25 Billion in retail revenue including Pokemon. An expert in licensing, branding, digital media and marketing, Alfred plays an integral role in securing licenses for the ECOMI Collect platform, and it looks like he has landed the Superman franchise.

VeVe has confirmed that they are busy working on features to make the NFTs interactive within the app and dynamic in the real world. This includes cars being drivable, ghostbusters catching ghosts and could this mean Superman flying?

Imagine being able to use your phone to race Superman against a DeLorean down your street!

Look, up in the sky (on your phone), it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Superman…….

More on this as we get it…

Logan Paul VeVe NFT

This month we reported that the VeVe NFT app might be one of the best investments in the NFT space at the moment and things are really starting to catch fire.

The app was created by Ecomi and allows you to collect digital figurines that you can then display in the real world through augmented reality.

In the past week VeVe has sold out of all collectible figures, including a new UltraMan drop that sold out in five seconds. All of this NFT goodness is underpinned by its own crypto currency called OMI.

Now influencers are starting to speak out about the new phenomenon, including YouTube royalty Logan Paul, who had this to say to his millions of subscribers.

Him and friend Chase Hero got super excited and doubled down on their bromance when realising they are both currently invested in OMI.

Paul gushed – “you have the same weird little coins that no one’s heard of as me?!”

Chase replied with – “Pooookeeemon”

This is in reference to the fact that Alfred Khan works as head of licensing at VeVe, the same guy that previously licensed Pokemon all around the globe. This has sparked wild rumours that Pokemon collectibles could be heading to the VeVe app and that would cause the price of the OMI stock to skyrocket ?

Ecomi also plan to become the first carbon neutral NFT platform, beginning with a commitment to offset 100% of the carbon footprint caused by the minting of NFTs.

With a Back to the Future drop imminent and IP licensing also secured for Batman, Ghostbusters, Cartoon Network and many more, the VeVe app remains one of the most exciting NFT projects to date.

We will continue to watch this space closely while admiring our office Ultraman (yes we secured one within the 5 seconds sell out, his name is Ace).

Calvin Harris Technofish NFT Drop

Calvin Harris is a wildly successful DJ, record producer, singer songwriter and now he is trying his hand at becoming an NFT artist.

He plans to release what appears to be a koi carp water collection called TECHNOFISH on NFT marketplace Nifty Gateway, March 29th.

Five previously unheard pieces of music will be minted with the visual art overlays being provided by his lifelong friend and music video director Emil Nava.

Harris (really name Adam Richard Wiles) released album ’18 Months’ that holds the UK record for an album that features most Top 10 singles, with 9. He also holds the records for the most Number 1 singles in the past 10 years, topping the charts eight times since 2010.

His fanbase will be eager to get their hands on the first ever Calvin Harris NFTs, and with the minimum entry price likely to be $999, these will generate millions of dollars in sales.

Like shooting fish in a barrel!

Fellow superstar DJ Steve Aoki dropped his own NFT collection at the beginning of March and crashed the marketplace with net sales reaching over five million dollars.

There has been concerns about the environmental impact of NFTs and Harris took to Instagram to assure his fans he is “working with decarbonisation advisor Aerial” and that “a portion of the proceeds will be allocated to high-quality, forest conservation projects verified by American Carbon Registry and to emerging technologies such as Charm Industrial that capture carbon from biomass waste and permanently store it underground.”

The drop will go live here from 5pm on Monday. You will need to be logged on ready to purchase and expect site delays and stress issues.

Boss Logic Tweet - Zack Snyder NFT Cancelled

This just in.

The hotly anticipated drop by BossLogic and Marvel director Zack Snyder has been dramatically cancelled at the last minute by Nifty Gateway.

The only reason being given was – ‘IP Complications.’

We believe in this case that refers to Intellectual Property complications.

See the actual Tweet below ?

It sounds like the jostling for rights and intellectual property has begun. Marvel and DC have maybe started to realise how valuable this space is going to become and want to limit the amount of pieces that uses their artwork.

There is no mention of it being rescheduled yet with BossLogic and Zack Snyder being very quiet on social media.

Boss Logic is regularly commissioned by Marvel and DC to create art for their movie franchises. With millions of followers on social media, he is fast becoming one of the early pioneers of NFT artwork.

Zack Snyder has directed or produced a number of comic book and superhero films, including Man of Steel (2013), and its follow-ups, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017).

This drop was also going to tie in nicely with the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League that hits HBO Max this Thursday on March 18.

With the sudden announcement of this drop and then a retraction in just a small 48 hour window – it’s just another example of the pure chaos sweeping NFT right now.

BossLogic NFT Drop

BossLogic has just made an announcement on his Instagram that’s sent the NFT world into a frenzy!!!

He will be releasing a Justice League NFT drop on March 16th with Marvel director Zack Snyder.

Yes you read that correctly. BossLogic, Zack Snyder – Justice League ?

What makes this drop even more appealing is they are giving all the proceeds to charity.

See the Instagram post here.

You’ll notice it mentions a date change. That might be why we are only hearing about this drop 48 hours before it happens. ?‍♂️

It also ties in nicely with the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League that hits HBO Max this Thursday on March 18.

Boss Logic is regularly commissioned by Marvel and DC to create art for their movie franchises. With millions of followers on social media, he is fast becoming one of the early pioneers of NFT artwork.

The drop is happening on Nifty Gateway.

Nifty Gateway seem to be selling over seven hundred pieces of every open edition they drop at the moment. So when you consider the credentials of these two, and the amount of new buyers that will flood to the site, the number of sales could be mind boggling.

That may push the value of these pieces down, but this NFT Artwork drop will be a hard one to pass on.

These slowed down screenshots could very well be the first peek  ?

We’ll see you at Nifty Gateway on the 16th of March.
