The series of portraits that appear in the artwork were photographed by Givenchy and reworked to capture moments of intimacy, strength and diversity. The work champions those who have stood up for identity, sexuality and human rights.
A spokesperson for Givenchy said about the artwork –
“we have reflected on Givenchy Beauty’s place at the forefront of inclusivity, creating a digital artwork that recognizes the LGBTQIA community”
Givenchy was 2020’s fastest-growing luxury brand with its value growing an impressive 74% to US$2.0 billion and is currently recognised as the 26th biggest luxury brand in the world by brandirectory.com
Givenchy is endorsed by the likes of the Kardashians and Elon Musk who wore a $4000 Givenchy suit on his latest SNL appearance. The Tesla and SpaceX entrepreneur, 49, wore the luxury’s label’s wool blazer with silver padlock closure ($3,135), along with matching pants ($840), opting for a black T-shirt underneath instead of a traditional button-down and tie.
This is one of the hottest NFT drops of the summer and you even though it is sold out, you can still get your hands on one in the VeVe app marketplace, second sales currently stand at approximately £250.
